I have been dying to see more web 1.0 style sites like yours, this whole place is incredible!! I love the banners that show up on the side of each page, your Toybox section is awesome, I love the buttons you've made (I'd love to use some of them myself if that's okay :0), the whole site is so detailed and I'm in love with it.. pls keep it up!!!

Yes please use the buttons anywhere you wish - that's what I made them for! You've got a really neat website yourself! Love that you have 2 themes

Nice site, of a remarkable sobriety. I despite many of the shiny websites that here, on neocities, kill my eyes. I have some questions. When will the vote about the 60s cartoons end ? Have you made all the icons yourself ( "home", "about", "mailbox" etc.) ? If no, where do you find them ? I hope you have a good day. Site approved by Eléonore

Greatly appreciate that kind website, and glad the design is easy on the eyes. It is updated every Monday (my timezone), so this may be Tuesdays for you - especially as I may update late in the evening or miss a day. I did not make any of the icons, but want to change that in the future - you can find the source of most of them on the "Special Thanks" page (/thankyou). Honoured to have your thumbs up! Have a nice day as well <3

Rich with legit curated content, and surprisingly usable site in 2026 :tu:

Thanks for that comment! I feel like I'm lacking a bit on the content side - I don't write as much or as well as I wish. I put a lot of focus on a consistent design that just-works

I was taking a look at your RSS feed and noticed it’s currently throwing an XML parsing error. From what I can tell, this is happening because there are unescaped characters like “&” inside some of the <description> tags, which should be written as "&" in XML. Alternatively, wrapping the description content in CDATA would also prevent the issue. Just thought I’d mention it in case you hadn’t spotted it yet.

Much appreciated! I usually have that autocompleted through a plguin in my text editor, but must've fumbled it a couple weeks ago. I didn't know that about CDATA though! That seems a bit more convenient for my RSS feed... Nice site you've got there!
